@RaginCajunsSB begins third season of the Glasco Era in February

LAFAYETTE – With the collegiate softball season a little over two months away from launching, the time is now to secure a seat for the highly anticipated 2020 season of Louisiana Softball, which begins on Feb. 7 at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park. Season ticket sales are officially underway as of Thursday, Nov. 21.
 
Ragin' Cajuns fans have the ability to purchase season tickets for the 2020 campaign several ways:
  • Call the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at (337) 265-2170
  • Purchase online at RaginCajuns.com using Account Manager
  • Visit the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at the CAJUNDOME in-person Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and extended hours during Ragin' Cajuns basketball events
Louisiana is scheduled to play 28 games at Lamson Park in the regular season, highlighted by a visit from Louisiana State on Feb. 15 and Sun Belt Conference series with rivals Texas State and South Alabama.
 
Season tickets, beginning at $100 for outfield seating (general admission), are now available for purchase. Reserved grandstand seating includes chairbacks (sections 105-109, 207) for $310 and benchbacks (sections 205-206 and 208-209) for $260.
 
Fans who purchase season tickets will receive priority access for any potential NCAA postseason games held at Lamson Park.
 
For information on premium seating and parking at Lamson Park, contact the Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation at (337) 851-RCAF (7223). General admission parking at Cajun Field remains free for all games during the 2020 season.
 
Louisiana, entering its third season under the guidance of head coach Gerry Glasco, seeks to build upon one of the program's most successful seasons ever. The 2019 squad swept the Sun Belt regular season and tournament championships, boasted a Top 10 national ranking, earned the program's 21st consecutive NCAA Tournament bid and recorded the first 50-win campaign since 2012.
 
The return of All-American and Sun Belt Pitcher of the Year Summer Ellyson, Sun Belt Player of the Year Alissa Dalton and Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year Sarah Hudek, plus the addition of Oregon transfers Megan Kleist and Mia Camuso, Missouri transfers Callie Martin and Geana Torres, and Texas A&M graduate transfer Kaitlyn Alderink, has excitement for a memorable season running extremely high.
