Tolson Moves @RaginCajunsGolf Up Leaderboard At Louisville Cardinal Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Junior Jack Tolson paced the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns golf team on Saturday carding a round of 68 (-3) at the Louisville Cardinal Classic hosted at the par-71, 7,101-yard University of Louisville Golf Club.

Louisiana moved up six spots on the leaderboard into a tie for tenth with Kentucky at 4-over par (572) after tallying a score of 4-under (280) on the day.

Duke continues to lead the tournament with a two-round score of 34-under (534), while the Blue Devils' Alex Smalley leads all individuals at 15-under (127).

Tolson Climbs Into Top 25

Tolson notched his first round in the 60s this season and the ninth of his career on Saturday to move up 35 spots into a tie for 25th at 1-under par (141). The Lafayette, La., native bounced back from a bogey on his first hole of the day on 10 to play bogey-free the rest of the round with four birdies in his first nine holes.

Freshmen Post Strong Second Round

Freshman Hudson Dubinski posted his second straight low round of the season notching a 71 (E) to finish the day in a tie for 37th at 1-over (143). Fellow freshman Charlie Flynn climbed 28 spots up the leaderboard in the second round with his first career round in the 60s carding a 69 (-2) to move into a tie for 48th at 2-over (144). Flynn recorded three birdies in his first four holes of the round and had five total on the day.
