Appeared in four games, all in relief…yielded just three hits and held foes scoreless over 3-2/3 innings of work…helped close out a shutout in three of the four appearances…did not allow a hit and struck out four combined over the final two relief efforts…worked the final inning on opening day vs. Iowa State to close out freshman Alyssa Denham’s first career victory…notched a season-high three strikeouts during inning of relief vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Mar. 5…final appearance of her career came in Game 1 vs. Coastal Carolina on Apr. 29...held Coastal hitless and preserve Alex Stewart’s shutout that moved the Cajuns within a win of the Sun Belt Conference championship.
2016 (Redshirt Junior)
Returned to action after missing entire 2015 season (knee injury) … posted a 3-0 record and limited foes to 10 earned runs over 26 2-/3 innings … nine of 11 appearances came in relief, including final eight outings … worked two-plus innings in six of the last seven appearances, and eight of 11 overall … yielded just one extra base hit, and four hits total in eight innings, in her two starts (Ball State, Alcorn State) … recorded 20 strikeouts, reaching the benchmark for the third time in her career and increasing her career total to 93 … allowed only six walks and issued just two walks over her final 16 innings in the circle … started and won the season opener in Gulf Shores vs. Ball State … posted a career-high 10 strikeouts and tossed her first career no-hitter in a start vs. Alcorn State (Feb. 28) … the 10 strikeouts vs. Alcorn State were tied for the second-highest output by a Cajuns pitcher in 2016 (Kylee Jo Trahan vs. Rutgers on Feb. 26 and Alex Stewart vs. Texas A&M on May 22) … hurled four innings of scoreless relief over two appearances at Georgia State … escaped a bases-loaded jam with no outs in the fifth inning of Game 2 at GSU on April 9 with only one inherited runner scoring …pitched scoreless relief the final two innings and was credited with the win after the Cajuns erased a 5-4 deficit in the seventh inning on a two-run home run by DJ Sanders … matched her season-high relief innings total by pitching three innings in Game 2 of the Saturday doubleheader at No. 1 Florida (April 16) and the series finale at Georgia Southern (May 1) … earned the save in her first career NCAA Tournament appearance on May 20 at Lamson Park, pitching the final two innings after Boston University had trimmed the lead to 7-4.

Posted a 6-1 record with a 2.79 ERA in 13 appearances and four starts on the season … struck out 33 batters while giving up 36 hits, 17 earned runs and 17 walks in 42.2 innings … held opponents to an average of .217 … recorded a career-high seven strikeouts in a complete game against ULM (5/9) in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament semifinals … helped the Ragin’ Cajuns to a doubleheader sweep on the road over No. 14 Baylor (4/22), throwing 4.0 scoreless innings with two strikeouts while allowing three hits and two walks … allowed zero runs on just two hits with five strikeouts in 5.0 innings against UT Arlington (4/26).
2013 (Redshirt Freshman)
Went 9-2 with a 3.79 ERA (37 ER, 68.1 IP) and 40 strikeouts in 21 appearances (13 starts) … recorded one save … became the Cajuns’ number two starter midway through the season … tossed one complete game against Louisiana Tech (3/13) ... tossed 9.1 innings in a ten inning game against Western Kentucky (5/11), starting the game, exiting for two outs and then reentering to finish the game … made her collegiate debut in relief against Lipscomb (2/9), tossing 3.0 innings and picking up her first career save … won her first game, picking up a relief win against Mississippi Valley State (2/15) ... won her first career start, beating Hofstra (2/23), tossing 4.0 innings and allowing just two runs on six hits and picking up a season-high four strikeouts.

Three time letterwinner at Clear Lake High School in Houston, Texas … led Clear Lake High School to a berth in the 2011 Texas Class 5A state playoffs to end her senior campaign … she was named first team all-district and most valuable player as a junior with the Falcons … earned second team all-district honors as well as a first-place ranking for the lowest ERA by the Houston Chronicle … in the summer of 2006, she was the youngest participant to try out for the U.S. Olympic Team.
