The Cajuns enjoyed their thirteenth practice of the spring on Wednesday - their final full pads workout leading up to Saturday's spring game.

Good weather continued to be prevalent during spring practice days, as the Cajuns breezed through 25 five-minute periods.

"It was a good day," head coach Mark Hudspeth said.  "We covered a lot and have a lot of stuff in.  I think we are way ahead on a lot of things in terms of install."

The team had a typical spring practice itinerary with a lot of individual work, followed by specials teams and ending with team periods of first down, third down and red zone.

"I noticed the defensive line," Hudspeth stated.  "They got better today.

"That is our goal, to get better everyday and the D-Line did that."

The team will have a light practice/walk-through on Friday in shorts and helmets in preparation for Saturday's spring game.

"We practice hard and practice fast and we want to do that at Cajun Field on Saturday for the spring game," Hudspeth commented.  "I think our fans are going to do their part and we are going to do our part.  When that happens, we'll have something special."
