UL-ASTATE Matchup on Nov. 12 to Air on ESPN3

On Monday the Sun Belt Conference office announced that the Ragin' Cajuns football team's potential Sun Belt Conference title showdown with Arkansas State on Saturday, Nov. 12 in Jonesboro, Ark., was selected by ESPN to air on ESPN3.
The kickoff for the contest at ASU Stadium remains at 2 p.m.
As part of the Sun Belt Conference's contractual agreement with ESPN, the network is granted a 12-day rolling window during the season to select games to televise. ESPN exercised this option in selecting the Louisiana at Arkansas State game to appear on ESPN3.com.
Entering Week 10 of the season, ASU tops the Sun Belt standings with a 4-0 league record with UL a close second at 5-1 in SBC contests. The Red Wolves travel to Boca Raton, Fla., this weekend to face Florida Atlantic while the Ragin' Cajuns host La.-Monroe at Cajun Field in their home finale.
The addition of the meeting with the Red Wolves to the ESPN broadcast schedule increases the number of televised games for the Cajuns in 2011 to nine.
