Cajuns to Close Out Fall Season

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns golf team is set to close the 2011 fall season on Monday at the David Toms Intercollegiate. The 54-hole tournament is being held at the Southern Trace Country Club in Shreveport, La.
The teams will play 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 holes to close out the event on Tuesday. Action begins with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. on the first day, and tee times are scheduled for Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. to close out the tournament.

Chris Weninger will look to help guide the Cajuns to their fourth straight top 3 finish in 2011 as the sophomore has placed in the top 10 in all three events this fall.
Philipp Fendt, Andrew Noto, Brandt Garon and Yohann Vora will also tee off for the Cajuns, while Kelsey Angelle will make his 2011 debut in Vermillion and White as an individual.
Fendt is coming off of his best finish of the 2011-12 season at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate where he placed 3rd.
Also competing in the David Toms Intercollegiate is tournament host LSU, Kansas State, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, SMU, South Alabama and Tulsa.
