Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns golf team will look to carry the momentum from last week's second place finish as the Cajuns head to Lawrence, Kansas for the Kansas Invitational on Monday.

The second tournament of the year is being held at Alvamar Public Golf Course.

Starting on Monday, 14 teams will take to the 7,092-yard, par-72 course.

Rounding out the field along with UL is Creighton, Drake, Jacksonville, Kansas, Kansas State, UMKC, Missouri State, Nebraska, Oklahoma City, Oral Roberts, Louisiana Monroe, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Western Kentucky.

Teeing off for the Cajuns will be Andrew Noto, Philipp Fendt, Peter Lamaris, Christoph Weninger and Kelsey Angelle.

Last week at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate, the Cajuns finished second overall. Noto was the top finisher, shooting 11-under par and claiming third place.

Fendt played consistent to finish in a tie for 17th place at 1-under.

Freshmen Lamaris and Weninger did well in their first collegiate event and found themselves tied for 28th and 31st, respectively.

For Angelle, it will be his first collegiate start. Last season, Angelle received a redshirt and did not participate in any events.

The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. on both days. 36 holes will be played on Monday and 18 will be played on Tuesday. Scores and updates can be accessed at www.golfstat.com.
