The Ragin' Cajuns will head to play their third consecutive BCS opponent on Saturday as they travel to Lincoln, Neb., to take on the 25th-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers at 6 p.m., in Memorial Stadium.

The Cajuns (2-1) are coming off a 31-3 loss at No. 7 LSU, while the Cornhuskers (2-1) are coming off a 16-15 loss to No. 11 Virginia Tech.

The game will be telecast via pay-per-view on participating cable, satellite and fiber-optic providers. Suggested retail price for residential purchase is $29.95. Participating cable and satellite providers will offer the telecast to their customers on specially designated pay-per-view channels. The Cajuns will be looking for their first road win over a BCS opponent and third win against a team from the Big 12. UL is 2-2 at home with wins over Kansas State and Texas A&M, and losses to Oklahoma State and Texas Tech, but 0-13 on the road.

UL's defense has now recorded five interceptions in three games, putting them on pace for 20 this season. The Cajuns had only nine picks in 2008 and 2007, and just six in 2006. The defense also recorded its first sack of the season against LSU.

For Nebraska, this will be the third Sun Belt team on its schedule, defeating Florida Atlantic and Arkansas State 49-3 and 38-9, respectively.

This will be the 300th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium, an ongoing NCAA-record streak that dates back to 1962. To celebrate, the Cornhuskers will wear throwback uniforms. The game is also homecoming for Nebraska.

Weekly award winners for the Cajuns include Ladarius Green as the offensive player of the game. Green was the Cajuns leading receiver at LSU, hauling in six receptions for 64 yards.

The defensive players of the game were Gerren Blount, Hall Davis and Daylon McCoy.

Blount led the team with nine tackles and posted an interception midway through the first quarter. It was the seventh interception of his career and the team's fifth this season. Davis was the top defensive lineman with six tackles and recorded the team's first sack of the season just before halftime when he brought down Jordan Jefferson for a nine yard loss on third-and-seven from the UL 26.

The scout team players were Ian Thompson and Jacob Maxwell on offense, with Barry Sterling and Brandon Nash on defense.
