LAFAYETTE-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team was trailing 2-0 heading into the bottom of the third inning when inclement weather struck the Lafayette area. The rain forced a cancellation.

The Cajuns' game with Kentucky was rained out, as was UConn's game with San Diego State.

The final two games of the 2009 Mardi Gras Invitational will be played as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Kentucky will face UConn in game one, while the Cajuns will play San Diego State in game two.
