10/7/2009 4:00:00 PM | Football
The Cajuns game on Saturday, October 10 vs. North Texas will be the Cajuns first on the Sun Belt Network, which will also be available nationwide after ESPN announced it has added the game to ESPN GamePlan and ESPN360.com. The broadcast will only be available from ESPN in markets that are outside of the Sun Belt Network.
The game is also available online at the Cajuns website to all Ragin' Station subscribers.
Charter Dallas and WKYU were added to the list of affiliates for the Sun Belt Network - a partnership with the conference office, Comcast-Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) and Cox Sports Television (CST).
The Sun Belt, CST, and CSS previously announced a comprehensive deal that will bring Sun Belt Conference events to the airwaves beginning this fall. CSS and CST continue to be the Sun Belt's television production partners and the two networks combine to serve nearly 10 million households in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia.
For Charter Cable subscribers in the Denton, Texas area, the Sun Belt Network will air on public access/local origination channel 25 in Denton, Corinth, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, Shady Shores and the University of North Texas. This will bring an additional 57,000 households to the Sun Belt Network.
The Sun Belt Network will also extend its reach in the state of Kentucky thanks to the addition of WKYU as an affiliate. WKYU reaches an audience of more than 250,000 people in 11 counties in Kentucky and Tennessee.
A list of all network affiliates and stations is available at the top of the page.
