Softball Receives Donation

LAFAYETTE-The Eighth Annual “UL Athletic Fund” golf tournament was held in Houston, Texas in October of 2008. The event is hosted annually by a 12-man steering committee, made up of University of Louisiana Engineering graduates.

Running the 2008 tournament were David Faherty, Michael Patin, Chad Williams and Sid Labbe.

Proceeds from the 2008 tournament were donated to the Louisiana Softball Program. Recently, a check for over $30,000, which was the largest amount raised in the tournament history, was presented to Ragin' Cajuns co-head coaches Stefni and Michael Lotief.
