TROY, Ala.-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball Sun Belt Conference game against Troy was canceled because of inclement weather in the Troy area.

Heavy rains throughout the area pushed back the start time and ultimately caused the cancellation. The rain moved through the area early in the morning and a second bout of rain during the afternoon made playing conditions too bad and officials opted to cancel the final game of the series.

The Cajuns are 39-10 overall and 17-2 in the Sun Belt. With the cancellation, the Ragin' Cajuns clinch the conference regular season title.

Louisiana will travel to Houston, Texas to play the University of Houston on Wednesday for a doubleheader at 4:00 p.m. Following the double dip with the Cougars, the Cajuns will conclude the regular season with a three-game Sun Belt Conference Series with ULM.
