Women?s Tennis Loses Heartbreaker to Arkansas

The Cajuns, who fell out of the national ranking this week, picked up three of the six singles matches. Doubles action made the difference, clinching the match for the Razorbacks.
In singles action, Tammy Day was defeated by
Chanell picked up a win against Nanar Airapetian 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3, and Angela Dangond dropped her match to Audrey Bordeleau 1-6, 5-7 at No. 4.
Laura Martelli and Clemence Remy both picked up wins for the Cajuns. Martelli defeated Rachel Wilhelm 6-3, 6-2 at No.5, and Remy defeated Melissa Hoffmeister 6-4, 6-0 at No. 6.
In doubles action, Martelli and Dangond topped Hoffmeister and Wilhelm 8-6 at No. 3.
