HOUSTON, Texas-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns completed their final round of the All-American Classic at the Tradition at Cypresswood in Houston, Texas. The Cajuns carded a final time score of 298 to finish in a tie for seventh.
The Ragin' Cajuns final round score of 298 gave UL a final tournament score of 888. The Cajuns tied for seventh place with Iowa State.
The Cajuns finished 16 strokes shy of the tournament champion Kansas who finished with a combined score of 872.
Tournament host Houston finished two strokes ahead of the Cajuns in fifth place.
Individually for the Cajuns, Devin Carrey led the way finishing in a tie for 17th. He carded a one-over par round of 73 to finish the tournament at five over par.
Justin Lowe and Peter Badawy both finished the tournament at six over par. Low, who recorded the lowest round by a Cajuns player for the tournament, shot a final round 78. Badawy recorded the lowest final round score for the Cajuns. He shot even par to tie with Lowe for 21st.
Rounding out the scoring for the Cajuns were Michael Smith and Morgan Landry. Smith shot a final round of 75 to finish in a tie for 38th, while Landry shot a final round of 80 to finish in a tie for 49th.
The Cajuns' Kyle Pritchard finished in a tie for 28th while competing as an individual. Pritchard tied Badawy for the low score on the afternoon with is even par 72.
The Ragin' Cajuns will return to action on March 5-6 as they return to Lafayette to host the 21st Annual Louisiana Classics at Oakbourne Country Club.
