Men?s Tennis Drops Match to Miss. State

The Cajuns' (2-5) only singles win of the afternoon came from Shaun Ellison. Ellison defeated Pjotrs Necajevs 6-4, 3-6, 1-0(6) at the No. 3 position.
Piotrek Banas dropped his match to MSU's Ivan Bjelica 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1, while Dusan Tabak was defeated by Philippe Frayssinoux 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 2 spot.
Arlen Domoney fell to Edouard Benchetrit 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 4 position, and Janusz Conradi dropped his match to Ryan Farlow 6-3, 3-3, ret. at No. 5.
Jorge Delgado was defeated by Chris Doerr 7-5, 6-4 at No. 6. Delgado's loss clinched the match for the Bulldogs.
The Cajuns won the double point after picking up wins at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions.
Banas and Ellison defeated Artem Kuznetsov and Necajevs 9-7 at the No. 2 spot while Domoney and Tabak posted an 8-4 victory over Benchetrit and Doerr at the No. 3 position.
Conradi and Delgado were defeated by Bjelica and Frayssinoux 8-2 at the No. 1 position.
