LAFAYETTE– Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns track and field teams will compete against some of the nation's top competition April 5-8, at the 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium, on the campus of the University of Texas.
The women will kick off this years meet on Wednesday, April 5, at 12:30 p.m. with the heptathlon and continues through Saturday evening, April 8.
“I think we are ready to compete and we are going to go out and perform to the best of our abilities,” said Head Coach Lance Veazey.
The Cajuns competed in a light meet, at the Louisiana-Lafayette invite in their last outing. “Last week's meet gave us the opportunity to prepare and get some work in for the Texas Relays,” added Veazey.
After the Texas Relays, UL will compete in the LSU Alumni Gold Meet Saturday, April 22, in Baton Rouge.
