Rocky Guidry (Track & Field) was a 4-year letterman in football and track & field at UL from 1990-94 - he was a stellar football player but enters the hall of fame as an accomplished track athlete. Rocky was a 3-time All Conference Champion in javelin, a 4-time All-Louisiana selection, placed 12th and 13th in the 1991 and 1992 NCAA Championships and participated in the 1991 Olympic Festival where he placed 7th. In 1991, his throw of 235'9" set the American South Conference record as well as the UL record - those records still stood at the time of his induction. Rocky also holds the Sun Belt Conference record of 232'6" set in 1992. Rocky received a General Studies degree from UL in 1995.
