Matt Trevino (Golf) – A four-year letterman for the Ragin' Cajuns from 1995-98, Trevino was a three-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection.   In 1996, Trevino won the Louisiana State Amateur Championship.  He placed second in the 1997 NCAA Regional Championships, qualifying him to compete in the NCAA National Championships.  Trevino's wedge shot on the final hole at the 1997 Sun Belt Conference Championships was instrumental in the Cajuns securing the league title.  In 2006, he was named to the All-Time Sun Belt Conference team.  Currently, Trevino is the Director of Golf at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville, Texas. He received his degree from the University in 1998.
