Already a member of the Louisiana Basketball Hall of Fame … Averaged more than 20 points a game in three different seasons, one of only two UL players to do that (Bo Lamar), including a high of 21.6 as a senior in 1990-91 … Ranks fourth in UL history with 2,294 points and 14th in rebounding with 719, and was the first player in school history with 2,000 points and 700 rebounds (still one of only two) … Three-time first-team All-American South Conference after second-team and Newcomer of the Year honors as a freshman, and a four-time All-Louisiana pick, twice first-team and the state’s Freshman of the Year in 1988 … First-round pick (18th overall) in 1991 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and traded to Denver just after draft, played three years with the Nuggets before a long international career, mostly in Australia … Led Adelaide 36ers of Australia’s NBL to two national titles and was Grand Finals MVP in 1998, before retiring as a player in 2004 and becoming a coach in the NBL – including nine years with his former 36ers team.
