Already a member of the Louisiana Basketball Hall of Fame … Averaged more than 20 points a game in three different seasons, one of only two UL players to do that (Bo Lamar), including a high of 21.6 as a senior in 1990-91 … Ranks fourth in UL history with 2,294 points and 14^th in rebounding with 719, and was the first player in school history with 2,000 points and 700 rebounds (still one of only two) … Three-time first-team All-American South Conference after second-team and Newcomer of the Year honors as a freshman, and a four-time All-Louisiana pick, twice first-team and the state’s Freshman of the Year in 1988 … First-round pick (18^th overall) in 1991 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and traded to Denver just after draft, played three years with the Nuggets before a long international career, mostly in Australia … Led Adelaide 36ers of Australia’s NBL to two national titles and was Grand Finals MVP in 1998, before retiring as a player in 2004 and becoming a coach in the NBL – including nine years with his former 36ers team.
