Jeffery Mitchell (Football) was a four-year letterman in football at defensive end for UL Lafayette from 1992-1995. Mitchell was a three-time All Big West selection – two 1st team and one honorable mention – and a two-time All Big West defensive player of the week.
Mitchell holds the school records for most sacks (21 – career, 11 – season); yardage lost on sacks (153 – career, 83 – season); tackles for a loss (45 – career, 21 – season, 5 – game); and total yardage lost (227 – career, 119 – season, 26 – game).
He received a General Studies degree from UL Lafayette in 2001.
