Don Blair

Don Blair was a four-year letterwinner for Russ Falkinberry from 1969-72, starting three years at left guard and one year as a left tackle. An All-Gulf States Conference as a freshman in 1969, Blair was a two-time All-Southland Conference pick (1971-72) and was named to the Times Picayune All-Louisiana Team in 1972.
He was a member of the 1970 Gulf States Conference championship team, which finished undefeated in conference play and appeared in the Grantland Rice Bowl.
Blair was named the USL Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1973 and was named to the 25-Year All-Star Football Team.
He officiated Lafayette area and surrounding Acadiana high schools as an LHSAA football umpire for 33 years from 1974-2006.
