Cajuns Basketball Honored By Louisiana Legislature

Marlin, Cajuns recognized by House and Senate as part of Acadiana Day
BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team was honored for a successful season on Wednesday with a proclamation by the Louisiana State Legislature as part of Acadiana Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.
Head coach Bob Marlin accepted the proclamation from Rep. Vincent Pierre, D-Lafayette, Rep. Joel Robideaux, R- Lafayette and Sen. Jonathan Perry, R-Kaplan.
The Ragin' Cajuns posted a 23-12 record during the 2013-14 season that was culminated by a Sun Belt Conference Championship and berth as the state's lone team in the NCAA Championships.
