2012 (Junior):  Started at inside linebacker in all 13 games, earning the team’s linebacker award. . . led the team with 105 tackles (70 solo). . . added 8.5 tackles for loss (-25), two quarterback sacks (-13), an interception, one caused fumble and one fumble recovery. . . ranked seventh in the Sun Belt in tackles, averaging 8.1 a game. . . had six games of 10 or more tackles, including a career-high 12 at Troy (9/9/12) and in back-to-back games at No. 6 Florida (11/10/12) and vs. Western Kentucky (11/17/12). . .  added 10 tackles at Oklahoma State. . . returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown vs. Tulane (10/6/12). . . recovered a fumble vs. Lamar (9/1/12) and forced one at Florida Atlantic (12/1/12). . . earned third letter.

2011 (Sophomore):  Worked his way into the starting lineup late in the season, starting the regular season finale at Arizona (11/26) and the New Orleans Bowl . . . played in nine games with two starts, ending the year with 11 solo and 13 total tackles. . . saw little action early in the year, but broke into rotation at Middle Tennessee (10/29), making three tackles. . . added three tackles at Arkansas State (11/12). . . capped year with a five tackle effort vs. San Diego State, including his only tackle for loss of the year. . . earned second letter.

2010 (Redshirt):  Appeared in 10 games at defensive end. . . missed first two games recovering from a broken leg suffered during spring drills. . . first career start came at Florida Atlantic (Nov. 13). . . posted a season-high four tackles in first game played (vs. MT) and later in the season vs. FIU. . . garnered first career sack at Troy. . . had a tackle-for-loss at North Texas, at Troy and at Ole Miss, while sharing a TFL vs. MT.

2009 (Freshman):  Redshirted after rehabbing from a broken leg during spring drills. . . was a member of the Sun Belt Honor Roll.

High School:  Garnered all-state recognition as a senior at Foley High, playing for coach Todd Watson. . . also earned all-county and all-region recognition after making 80 tackles with 16 sacks as a senior to lead team the state playoffs. . . selected to play in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game.
