2011 (Sophomore): Did not see any game action, practicing in the UL secondary. . . lettered as a member of the UL track team, posting the 11^th best throw of the year in the javelin (197-9).

2010 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt. . . finished sixth in the javelin at the Sun Belt Conference Championships with a throw of 191-11 to earn All-Sun Belt honors. . . named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List in both track and football.

High School: Three-time all-district choice at St. Louis High, playing for coach Mike Johns. . . played on both sides of the ball as a senior, seeing action at both quarterback and safety. . . served as team captain as a senior, helping team to an 8-3 record and the second round of the state playoffs. . . earned a total of 11 letters in high school, including four each in football and golf, two in track and one in soccer. . . two-time all-district pick in track, competing in the javelin and 300 hurdles. . . played goalie on the soccer team as a freshman.
