Michael Neustrom (Football 1965-68) graduated from USL in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology, in 1975 from Sam Houston State with a Masters in Police Science and in 1977 from Sam Houston State with a PhD in Criminal Justice. Mike was a four-year letterman for the USL football team. During his play, he received All-Conference and All-American honors. Mike was instrumental in leading the 1965 and 1968 teams to the Gulf States Conference Championship.
