Becky McMurtry (Softball) was a 2-time softball letterman at UL in 2002 and 2003 after transferring to UL. In 2002 Becky was named All-Sun Belt 1st Team; Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year; Sun Belt Player of the Year; All-Louisiana 1st Team; All-South Region 1st Team; and second team All-American. 2003 had Becky earning Sun Belt Conference 1st Team honors; Sun Belt Player of the Year; Louisiana Hitter of the Year; All-Louisiana 1st Team; All-South Region 1st Team; and second team All-American. Becky received a General Studies degree (was named outstanding graduate) from UL in 2003.
