Women's Tennis Wraps Up Regular Season, Heads To Tulane

LAFAYETTE – On Friday, April 13, in their final match of the 2018 regular season, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team (14-9) heads to New Orleans, La., to face the Tulane Green Wave with the match starting at 2:30 p.m.
MATCH LOCATION: The match won't be held at the traditional home courts for the Green Wave, instead the match will be at the UNO Tennis Center and free parking is available.
LAST TIME OUT: Louisiana visited San Marcos, Texas where they played two matches against Sun Belt Conference opponents. The first was a tough loss, 4-3, to the Arkansas State Red Wolves, where they came up just short of completing a comeback, falling in the final match of the day. And they wrapped up the weekend dropping their match, 4-1, against the UT Arlington Lady Mavericks.
FLO IS FLOWING: Freshman Floriane Picaut has won three straight singles matches and she's sitting at 11-6 in singles, the second-best record on the team. Picaut has won three straight and she's 5-3 in her last 10 matches. Picaut went 2-0 over the Cajuns weekend in San Marcos, and she's played primarily at No. 2 singles and she's 9-6 in that slot.
WHAT THE GREEN WAVE BRING: Tulane enters the match sitting at 11-10 and they've won their previous three matches. During that stretch they dropped only one point, winning the matches 4-0, vs. ULM, 4-1, vs. Southern Miss., and 4-0, vs. Southern. Christina Sisti owns the Green Waves' best record at 16-7 and she's won six straight singles matches.
