Promotions Set for Easter Weekend Softball Series With South Alabama

LAFAYETTE – 20th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball is offering a ticket special and Easter fun for children during the March 30-31 South Alabama series at Lamson Park.

As part of a "$5 Weekend" promotion, all tickets for all seats in Lamson Park throughout the entire series will be $5. This includes both grandstand and outfield seating.

The Ragin' Cajuns (20-7, 7-2 Sun Belt) and Jaguars (17-14, 5-3 Sun Belt) are scheduled to play a 4 p.m. doubleheader on Good Friday and a 1 p.m. single game on Saturday.

Saturday is "Easter at Lamson Park" with a postgame Easter Egg hunt on the playing field for all children in attendance.

Children should bring their Easter baskets (or a bag) with them to collect eggs. There will be Golden Eggs with special prizes.

All Easter Egg hunt participants will gather at the third base pavilion at the conclusion of the game. Representatives of Ragin' Cajuns Athletics will guide them onto the field.
