Sliman's Thoughts

"Certainly not where we want to finish any tournament as a team. We've had inconsistent play this week with too large of a margin between our worst and our best. That's what you can get when you have an inexperienced group. It's time for this group to start expecting more out of themselves after posting the low round of the season today.

Very proud of the efforts of Jack and Cole in the final round. For the second straight tournament Jack posted a 68 in his final round and then Cole had his first round in the 60s. I was glad to see both of them step up today and finish strong."

Tolson Equals Career Low Round

Sophomore Jack Tolson equaled his career low round with a 68 (-4) in the final round of the Border Olympics. Tolson had just one blemish on his card with five birdies while playing his final nine holes of the day mistake free. Tolson moved up 22 spots in the final round to finish in a tie for 21st at 2-under par, his fourth career top 25 finish and second straight this season.

Kendrick Cards First Round In 60s

Freshman Cole Kendrick was the biggest mover on the day climbing 27 spots up the leaderboard to finish in a tie for 56th at 4-over par after notching a round of 69 (-3) on Saturday. Kendrick had five birdies in the round and was blemish-free in his last 11 holes of the day to card his first career round in the 60s.
