Ragin’ Cajuns Softball Sets 2014 Camp Dates

On the heels of their 6th Women's College World Series appearance in school history, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball team has set the dates of their 2014 Summer Camps, for Tuesday – Friday, June 10-13, 2014 and Monday-Friday, June 23-27. Both camps will be held at Lamson Park and adjacent facilities located on Cajundome Blvd. in Lafayette, LA.
The "Fun in the Sun" Commuter and Overnight Camp will run from June 10-13, 2014 and is open to both Overnight Campers and Commuters. A limited number of spots are available and will be filled on a paid-first basis. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, with evening events for residential campers. Check-in for overnight campers will be on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M., at Hilton Garden Inn – Cajundome, located at 2350 W. Congress Street, Lafayette, LA, 70506. Commuters can meet and check-in at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, at Lamson Park. Cost for the "Fun in the Sun" camp will be $450.00 for the overnight campers and $325.00 for commuters. Overnight participation includes three meals and snacks. Commuters will be served lunch only each day.
The "14U Softball Youth Camp" will be held from June 23-27, 2014. Check in will be at Lamson Park on June 23, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. Cost will be $325.00, which will include lunch for the campers each day. The camp will run each day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Each camper will need to bring her own glove, batting helmet, individual bat, catching gear (if necessary), knee pads, softball cleats, tennis shoes, sunscreen, batting gloves, spending money and a desire to learn. Please label all items. Water will be provided.
The Ragin' Cajuns softball camp instructors are composed of the Ragin' Cajuns coaching staff and former and current Ragin' Cajuns softball players.
