Conference Championships Family Night Slated for Tuesday

LAFAYETTE, La. - With the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team hosting the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Championships, Lamson Park will be a busy place for the next week, with the fun starting on Tuesday evening for the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Championships Family Night at 7 p.m.

The evening is free of charge, and will give fans a chance to see the teams in a less formal environment, with the announcement of the 2014 all-conference teams, a home run derby and fireworks.  Gates will open at 6:45 with the festivities starting at 7 p.m. on field.  

The Family Night will be followed the next day with the first two rounds of the 2014 Sun Belt Championships, with the Cajuns receiving a bye for those two rounds.   The Cajuns will open their 2014 SBC Championships at 5 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.
