With all eight tickets punched to the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Championships, the final week of the regular season saw two teams - Troy and ULM - exchange places in the eight-team field with Troy claiming the No. 6 seed and ULM at No. 8

Despite its losses on the road against the league's top two teams (Arkansas State and WKU), the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns held firm with the No. 7 seed and will face No. 2-seeded WKU on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at New Orleans' Lakefront Arena.

Winners of four of their final six games, the Ragin' Cajuns (14-15, 7-11 SBC) entered the final week of the regular season in a three-way tie for sixth-place with ULM and Troy. But the Trojans vaulted past both the Cajuns and ULM, with Louisiana earning the No. 7 seed by virtue of its win over top-seeded Arkansas State on Feb. 15.

The Cajuns will open the eight-team tournament against WKU with the winner facing the winner of No. 3-seeded UALR and ULM in the semifinals on Friday, March 14. Top-seeded Arkansas State will open the tournament on March 12 against Troy with No. 4-seeded Texas State facing No. 5-seeded Georgia State.

The semifinal winners would meet in the championship game on March 15 at 8 p.m. on ESPN3. The winner would receive the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Championships.

Last season, the Ragin' Cajuns entered the Sun Belt Conference Championship as the lowest seed and contributed to a round of upsets that included a double-overtime victory over North Texas. The win was the first in the post-season for the Cajuns since 2007 during the team's run to the NCAA Championships.
