Cajuns and Golden Eagles To Play Day/Night Doubleheader

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Due to expected inclement weather Sunday, officials from both Southern Miss and Louisiana have agreed to push up the final game of the scheduled three-game baseball series to Saturday as the teams will now play a day-night doubleheader at Pete Taylor Park.
 
The first game will take place at 1 p.m., as originally scheduled while the nightcap is slated to start at 7:30 p.m., to accommodate a home basketball game for Southern Miss.
 
Both games can be heard live on News Talk 96.5 KPEL-FM. Live stats and video are also available on SouthernMiss.com.
 
Season tickets are still available for baseball and can be purchased on RaginCajuns.com or at the Cajundome box office. For more information call (337) 265-2357.
