LAFAYETTE, La. – The Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team is set to close out its season-opening four-match road trip this weekend with a pair of matches in Texas, starting with a 2 p.m. contest at Prairie View A&M on Friday.
After the match against the Panthers (0-0), Louisiana (1-1) will head to Texas – Pan American (0-1) for a 2 p.m. tilt with the Broncs.
"This weekend will be a great opportunity to get needed match play in and test ourselves on the road," head coach Mark Jeffery said. "The guys are hungry for more matches and getting better in match play situations. The critical thing is that I would like to see us step up and be aggressive and not let off the gas pedal."
The Cajuns won their only meeting against Prairie View A&M in 2012, while Louisiana holds an 8-4 edge in the series against UTPA.
