Louisiana to Meet South Alabama in Bracket Final on Saturday

LAFAYETTE - The Ragin' Cajuns baseball team will face South Alabama in a bracket final contest in the 2013 Sun Belt Conference Tournament at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
The Jaguars (42-17) set up the rematch with the Ragin' Cajuns (40-17) by eliminating FIU from the tournament late Friday evening.
Louisiana needs just one victory to advance to Sunday's championship game at 1 p.m. South Alabama would have to defeat the Cajuns twice to move to Championship Sunday.
The Cajuns and Jaguars are meeting in the tournament for the second time. Behind a complete game four-hitter from Austin Robichaux and a three-run home run from Caleb Adams that broke open a one-run game in the third inning, UL defeated USA 9-2 in a winner's bracket contest Friday afternoon.
Louisiana seeks its first appearance in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament championship game since the 2007 event held in Mobile at Eddie Stanky Field.
In Saturday's other bracket final, Florida Atlantic battles Arkansas State at 9 a.m. FAU needs just one win to advance to Championship Sunday, while ASU would have to win twice.
