Cajuns-Jaguars Series Opener at "The Tigue" Postponed

LAFAYETTE – The series opener between the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and South Alabama Jaguars at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field on Friday, May 10 has been postponed by expected inclement weather.

The Cajuns (34-15, 15-9 Sun Belt) and Jaguars (37-13, 17-7 Sun Belt) will now begin their series at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 11 and play a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday, May 12.

Tickets to Friday's game can be used for admission to either Saturday or Sunday's contests.

UL enters the USA series trailing the Jaguars by two games for first place in the Sun Belt Conference standings. Louisiana brings a five-game win streak in Sun Belt Conference play into the series.

Tony Robichaux's club is 24-5 at “The Tigue” and a perfect 7-for-7 in weekend series on their home turf. The USA games close out the regular season portion of the 2013 home schedule.
