Small contingent to run for Cajuns in post-season meet
WACO, Texas – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns cross country team returns to action on Friday when it competes in the 2013 NCAA South Central Regional at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course.
The meet, hosted by Baylor, begins with the men's 10K championship race at 10 a.m., followed by the women's 6K event at 11:15. Live results can be found on the cross country page at www.RaginCajuns.com.
After finishing seventh overall in the Sun Belt Conference Championships two weeks ago, Louisiana will send a small contingent to the meet, with Trey Bonin representing the men's team and Anna Katherine Devitt leading the women's six-member squad.
Joining Devitt, an All-Sun Belt recipient, in the lineup will be Camille Barnette, Danielle Castaldi, Kaylei Esfeller, Claire Hodges and Courtney Musgrove.
