The senior picked up her first save since 2008, throwing two scoreless innings in the win over Michigan. Brignac started two games, throwing complete games in both and finished with an ERA of 1.05.

Taking a Big Haack: Matte Haack was the Cajuns most prolific run producer in the Classic, driving in a team-high nine runs and posted a .421 batting average. The junior had three doubles, a triple and had a slugging percentage of .684.

Who Needs a Fence?: Nerissa Myers showed off her blazing speed rounding the bases on her way to a two-run inside the park homerun against Michigan. Myers recorded a .550 on base percentage in the tournament and leads the squad reaching safely at a .560 rate on the year.

Smith on Fire: Katie Smith led UL with a .471 batting average, tallying eight hits in the five games last weekend. The outfielder scored five runs, had a double, one RBI and was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.
