Baseball Fan Day Set For Feb. 11 at "The Tigue"

The Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is set to host its annual Fan Day festivities on Saturday, Feb. 11 at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field. Gates open at 11 a.m.

The event, free to Cajuns fans of all ages, will include an autograph session, home run derby and a 5-inning intrasquad contest. The first 500 fans through the gates of “The Tigue” will receive a complimentary drink and hot dog.

The day starts at 11 a.m., with an autograph session in Lourdes Park. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the entire 2012 squad during the autograph session with the first chance to get a 2012 baseball schedule poster and key tag.

The event wraps up with a home run hitting contest at 12 p.m., followed by the 5-inning game at approximately 1 p.m.

The UL Bookstore will open the H.O. Roy Gift Shop for fans interested in purchasing Ragin' Cajuns apparel. Staff members from the Ragin' Cajuns Ticket Office will be available to handle ticket inquiries.
