WHY MOBILE TICKETING

In the an effort to provide the fastest and most secure customer service possible, the Department of Athletics is implementing mobile tickets ahead of the 2023-24 athletic year.  The convenience of digital ticketing improves the overall fan experience in the following ways: 

Ease of Use, Peace of Mind
With instant, easy access to your tickets through account manager, you always have your tickets on you. This eliminates keeping track of hard tickets and reduces the risk of them being lost, stolen or left at home as you head out to the game. You may download, transfer, exchange or resell your tickets at any time. Mobile tickets also significantly reduce frequent issues associated with paper tickets including lost or stolen tickets, shipping delays, forgotten tickets or counterfeit tickets.

Efficiency
The use of mobile tickets will streamline the gate entry procedure with the goal of getting fans into the game quicker and easier than ever before. Mobile tickets also allow guests to manage tickets from their mobile phone on the #GeauxCajuns app or Cajuns Account. This includes the seamless transfer, exchange or resell of tickets quicker and more securely than ever before.

Flexibility
The use of mobile tickets will provide the flexibility needed to delivery tickets quickly once schedules for each sport’s season is confirmed. Mobile tickets also allow for real-time changes to event dates and times to be reflected immediately via live updates on the tickets in a customer’s digital wallet.
 

LOUISIANA ATHLETICS MOBILE TICKETING

Mobile ticketing is required for ALL Louisiana athletic events beginning with the 2023 football season. Tickets can be accessed through ythe Cajuns Account or through the #GeauxCajuns app on iOS and Android platforms.

Once tickets are available, the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office will send fans an email with a link to log in at ragincajuns.evenue.net/signin or via the #GeauxCajuns app. Fans will then be able to select the designated game. Louisiana Athletics highly encourages fans to download their tickets prior to arriving to the athletic venue. 

If fans are unable to make the event, a transfer option is available to fans to send directly to friends and family from your mobile device. 

Upon arrival, pull up the mobile tickets via the Apple Wallet or Google pay app on your phone. Once at the gate, simply show the barcode for each ticket to the usher for scanning. Each mobile ticket should be kept secure and treated like any other valid ticket.

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD TICKETS
  1. Open the #GeauxCajuns app on your mobile device or visit ragincajuns.evenue.net/signin.
  2. Sign in using your email and password. Sign in with the email address that received your Cajuns Account activation email.
  3. Scroll down and tap on the game you would like to access your tickets for.
  4. Add your tickets to your smart phone wallet for easy access on gameday!

HOW TO TRANSFER TICKETS

Transferring tickets to friends and family is easy and secure. 

  1. Login to your account from your mobile device at ragincajuns.evenue.net/signin or through the #GeauxCajuns app.
  2. Select the designated game and select "Transfer" for the specific ticket(s) you wish to send.
  3. Select the person from your phone's contact list or input information manually.
  4. After inputting the information, the recipient will receive a notification letting them know their ticket is available for download.


REMINDER: Screenshots will not be accepted upon entry. Please follow these instructions to transfer tickets.

PURCHASING & DOWNLOADING FAQs

When will my tickets be available on my account? 
As soon as tickets are purchased, they are located in your Cajuns Account. 

How do I access my tickets? 
If you do not already have it - download the Official Ragin’ Cajuns App here and select the ticket icon in the bottom right corner. Then log in with your ticket account information and you will find all active tickets. Fans will need to save their tickets from their browser to their mobile wallets to scan their ticket(s) at the venue. Please note that screenshots will not work with the scanners.

What if I want to buy a single game ticket the day of the game?
Fans can go to the ticket offices on the day of the game and purchase tickets. These fans will receive a physical ticket to be scanned at the gate. 

What if I want to buy a single game ticket in advance?
Fans can purchase tickets online at RaginCajuns.com/tickets, These fans will have their tickets sent to their account where they can access them. If a fan does not have an account, the Box Office will create one for them and answer any questions they have.

What if my guest(s) and I arrive to the venue at different times?
Each individual will need a ticket to enter the venue. Tickets can be transferred to each member of your party prior to your arrival. This will allow you and your party the convenience of entering at your own time. 

What if I have never used the Geaux Cajuns App or logged into my Cajuns Account on ragincajuns.com/tickets? Do I already have an account? Do I need to create a new one?
If you have ever purchased tickets for a Louisiana Athletics event, you already have an account in our ticketing system. Please check your email to see if you have received a Paciolan activation email and login using that email.

TROUBLESHOOTING FAQs

What if I do not have cell service at the venue?
Louisiana Athletics highly encourages downloading tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps prior to arriving at the venue to avoid cell service issues. Once tickets are successfully downloaded to Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps, cell service is not required to access tickets. If fans did not download tickets prior to arriving and do not have service, please visit the customer service box office located at Russo Park for assistance.
 
Can I take a screenshot of my digital ticket(s) and text or email the screenshot to one of my guests so they can enter?
No. To reduce fraud and counterfeiting, screenshots of your mobile ticket or pictures of your barcode will not be valid for entry.

What if I don’t have a smartphone?
If someone coming with you has a smartphone, before heading to the venue you can transfer the tickets to them using your Cajuns Account on a computer. One smartphone can be used to scan multiple tickets and provide both parties access to the game. If nobody in your party has a smart phone, please visit the customer service ticket office located at the Russo Park Box Office on the day of the game. Please have a valid ID for the name of the account.

What if my phone dies, breaks, is lost or stolen?
Please visit the ticket office  on the day of the game. Please have a valid ID for the name of the account.
 

TRANSFERRING TICKETS FAQs

How can I transfer tickets to another person?
Tickets can be transferred via your Cajuns Account through the #GeauxCajuns App or by visiting ragincajuns.evenue.net/signin from your mobile device or desktop computer. Simply log into your account and select the ticket(s) you wish to transfer and follow the instructions to send an email or text invitation to a friend or family member to accept the ticket(s).
 
Is there a cost to transfer my tickets?
There is no fee to transfer tickets from your online account.
 
Can I transfer my tickets more than one time?
A ticket can be transferred more than once. Once it is transferred it will be in the new user’s account and they will have the ability to transfer it if needed. A ticket transfer can be canceled prior to it being completed and accepted by the recipient.
 
If I transfer my tickets, can the person receiving them just show the confirmation text/email for entrance?
No. The confirmation message the new ticket holder receives does NOT act as their ticket(s). They will need to click on the link in the text/email message they receive and then login into their ticket account, or if they do not have an account, they will need to create one. Once they have an account, they must login via ragincajuns.com/tickets or through the #GeauxCajuns app and download the ticket.
 
Can ticket holders transfer tickets after the event has started?
Yes, tickets can be transferred any time during the event. We encourage transferring tickets prior to arriving at the game.
 
Does the person I transfer tickets to need a Louisiana Athletics ticket account?
Yes, they will need a Louisiana Athletics account to access the tickets. They can create an account in the acceptance process.
 
What if the person I transfer tickets to does not have an account?
If they do not have one already, they will sign up and create one in the acceptance process. They will sign up using the email or phone number that the tickets were transferred to. If the person is having trouble creating an account, please contact the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office office at (337) 482-GoUL (4685) for assistance.
 
Can I change the ticket transfer once I send it?
You can cancel a ticket transfer until it is accepted by the recipient. Once it is accepted, the recipient is now the owner of the ticket and is the only person who can access and manage the ticket digitally.
 
What if the person I transfer tickets to does not have a smart phone?
If the person receiving the tickets does not have a smart phone, they can still accept the ticket(s) and put them on their account using a web browser. They will need to visit the customer service box office located on game day to receive their ticket.

OTHER FAQs

What is the difference between the #GeauxCajuns app and visiting ragincajuns.com/tickets?
The #GeauxCajuns app is used to purchase, access, download and transfer tickets through your mobile device. The website is used to log on through a web browser to access and transfer your tickets to other fans.
 
How much does the #GeauxCajuns app cost?
The app is free and can be downloaded to Apple and Android devices here.
